The aim of Travel and Climate initiative is to contribute to a more sustainable tourism industry by providing a digital platform with tools and content that educate consumers about the climate footprint of tourism. The platform makes it easier for consumers who want to make low carbon choices, and it has the potential to contribute to the sustainability efforts of the tourism industry – through spreading knowledge and offering opportunities for industry actors to showcase low carbon options for travel and accommodation.
Through our cooperation with Travel CO2 the tourism industry and the media can utilise our climate data and present customized data on their own websites or blogs, or in other publications.
